A Gospel born in the forest
Santo Daime's revelation, in the form of the visions that gave origin
to the words and the music of the masters' hymns that still today are sung during the
works of the doctrine, constitute a new revelation to the daimists, the Third Testament, a
reading of the Christianity under the light of the ahyauasca. This movement could only
happen in the dawn of a new age, and is strong enough to motivate people to follow a
humble and illiterate man, of great white beards and a lot of wisdom, called Sebastião
Mota of Melo. It was around him that the daimists gathered in the forest in an intentional
and solidary community, with the purpose of living a more spiritualized life in tune with
our Mother - Nature.
